MAKEUP & BROW ARTIST KRYSTAL
Krystal is a Professional Makeup Artist who specializes in Brow’s Artistry, based in Metropolitan Area of Washington, DC. Krystal started out as a makeup artist 6+ years ago. She has worked for numerous makeup companies. As her love for makeup artistry grew, so did her clientele. She then branched out on her own and began freelancing. Krystal became known for her natural glowy makeup looks and her full brow techniques. Now, she’s using her brow skills to keep brows full and help clients recover from the 2000’s thin brow trend. She dedicated to staying up to date with the latest brow trends to help her clients needs!
Krystal wants to ensure each client with a luxury and yet chic experience. She is devoted to making every client feel beautiful and confident and meeting their beauty needs! Krystal prides herself on her professionalism and integrity with each service. Krystal says that every person canvas has it own vision and story.
Krystal has worked in the beauty industry for over 6+ years and has worked for well known makeup companies. Krystal began working for Bare Minerals back in 2014. Then, Sephora, YSL and other brands. From there, she went on to work for the coveted makeup artistry brand, MAC Cosmetics. Krystal spent over 3 years refining her skills and broadening her makeup experiences through MAC. She completed a rigorous, comprehensive certification makeup-artistry training program and continued to acquire education on current makeup trends, techniques, and latest product knowledge. In 2015, Krystal left her position at MAC, to expand her career as a freelance Makeup Artist and to be able to better accommodate her growing clientele.
Krystal has also worked with many talented photographers, new cast stations and celebrities such as Toya Wright, Kirk Cameron, Lil Moe, Kima (Total), On Set Tyler Perry and Joel Osteen. Her work has been featured in Washingtonian Magzine and Tosick Magazine. She’s also done makeup for politicians such as senator, representatives and journalists.
In order to further her knowledge and expertise, Krystal is currently earning her Esthetician license and training for microblading, microshading, and nano brows. Thus giving her more insight in understanding all aspects of the skin. Today, Krystal continues to work passionately on her speciality of Brow Artistry, where she is making her clients dream brows come to reality!
